"Mega Bonus Stage!" - LMG Music Jam 2025 submission

My theme for the jam was "Bonus stage + Retro-Futuristic and Synthy".

"Mega Bonus Stage" is the main version of the song, and the Piano version is an alternate arrangement with just piano and vocals.

In this song I wanted to play around a bit with vocals/autotune, and writing something with a typical verse-chorus song structure. (Usually the stuff I write is instrumental/not with a typical song structure).

I think I hit the themes of "Bonus stage" and "Synthy" pretty decently. Although I struggled a bit to incorporate the retro-futuristic part to it. My thinking was that retro-futuristic = synthwave-type stuff (aka: downtempo, atmospheric), and bonus stage = upbeat, Mario-style music. I think the end result turned out pretty decently.
